MY BIG BASS!!

At Orange County resort in Florida for a vacation. We decided that we would bring our fishing poles when we heard that. We took our poles from Michigan to Florida.

We fished these ponds all day but caught nothing. Third day it was about 6:00 pm getting dark out. I decided to put a tube jig on with a 1/4 ounce weight. I bounced off the bottom several times, then it hit.

I set the hook and struggled to real it in my drag was going crazy. It took me about 15 min to real it in. We picked it up out of the water and saw this!

I never officially weighed it but comparing it to other peoples fish i would assume it was 9 lb. how much do you think it weighed?

Not nine pounds sorry I caught an eight recently and it was a lot bigger than that one.

Nice bass. I would say that looks to be about 3 pounds.

I commend you on your determination for trying to catch some fish after a couple of days of being skunked. Keep up the good work youngster. Great job! And great catch!

Definitely a nice one Austin! Not sure about the 9 pounds but it is big one. I know you got a lot of adults wishing they could catch one like that.
